Adriana Loconco has the right to having a piercing. Its understandable that schools won't tolerate peircings but when it comes to it being a religious reason, then thats a different story. The first amendment allows us the freedom of religion and so we must exercise that right. If a school excludes a specific religions ways, then they would call attention to themselves. We are talking about ones religion here, they cant suspend her over her beliefs. The school doesn't follow there own policy of dress, then why would they try not to make a religious exemption. Doing this will affect her education, along with her abilities to going into a good college. how could that school be such hypocrites? They are giving themselves a bad reputation and will make it known that they exclude certain religions.

  2. I agree with you, not only the school won't let her follow her beliefs but they are harming her education. The school should pay attention to those that don't follow their dressing policy and not someone that wears a piercing for her beliefs.
